Artist statement: My cross-hatched, blue pen drawing was inspired by the artist – Andy Quilty – and the powerful figure, Emma Watson. To create this artwork, I used ball point pen and rather than a direct reproduction, I worked to create a hybrid between Quilty’s style and my own personal style which is more controlled and precise.
