Artist statement: With time, memories become more distant. As the body ages, memories become fragments of the past. It is intriguing that as humans we wish forget certain moments and others we wish to cherish. My work, Memories, aims to depict this concept related to human nature. The subject’s face remains solid, yet his past is bereft of certain memories that float in the background.
