Artist statement: My piece title Shereidealia is a ceramic sculpture of a satyros, half-human and half-ram. This creature comes from Greek mythology and folklore. I built the piece from clay, then painted it with by acrylics and embellished it with fake lashes and jewels. Our theme this term was Identity and we had to produce a portrait. I invented this character because I wanted to create something beautiful and mystical.
